Opera Lollipops

Our fifth highly successful Lollipops concert was held at St Catherine’s in the centre of Burbage. The church is renowned for its high standard of music concerts and this was the first time a Stanley Lollipops concert had appeared there. This concert promoted our upcoming opera The Elixir of Love with solos from the principals and some of the bubbly choruses. The programme will also included The Easter Hymn from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni, The Grand Chorus from Faust and many other opera favourites.

St Michael’s Church, Stoney Stanton, Leicestershire

Our fourth highly successful Lollipops concert was held at St. Michael’s Church, Stoney Stanton. The concert programme included The Toreador’s Song and Habanera from our recent opera Carmen by Bizet, the ever popular Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from Nabucco by Verdi and many other popular choruses. Including the Chorus of Wedding Guests from Lucia di Lammermoor and a selection from The Elixir of Love our opera of 2008.
